Spot the right schedule faster with schedule colors

You can now give each schedule its own color in ShiftApp. This is especially useful when your workforce has separate schedules for different locations, departments, or teams.

Try blue for your downtown location, green for your uptown location, or different colors for your sales and service teams. Colors make schedules easier to distinguish when you view them together, and help employees who work across teams recognize which schedule a shift belongs to.

You’ll see schedule colors in desktop calendars, mobile schedule lists, and shift views. Colors also appear in weekly and monthly schedule PDF exports and on shifts in individual employee schedule PDFs when exported in color.

To enable schedule colors:

  1. As a workforce owner or manager, open Workforce Settings.
  2. Under Records, set Use Schedule Colors to Yes and save.
  3. Edit each schedule to use its automatic color, or turn automatic color off and pick a manual color.

You can also give schedules their own photos. Enable Use Schedule Photos, then add an image through Add or Edit Schedules on desktop or the schedule’s edit page on mobile.

Photos and colors are optional, with separate settings. You can enable schedule colors without displaying photos.
