We are thrilled to announce the release of a new feature for ShiftApp: Shift Interest. This exciting addition allows employees to express their interest in shifts they have yet to be assigned to, indicating whether they are "Willing" or "Reluctant" to take on those shifts.

To use Shift Interest, your Workforce Settings must grant employees visibility into all available shifts. This feature is applicable only before an employee has been assigned to a shift. The previous pre-acceptance and pre-decline functionality has been completely removed from the system.

Once an employee has been assigned to a shift, they can still confirm their Shift Agreement by either accepting or declining the assigned shift, just as before.

In addition to the introduction of Shift Interest, we have addressed a range of minor bugs and made significant improvements to the overall performance of the system. Numerous screens and pages have also undergone a design update for a more enhanced user experience.

To complement the new Shift Interest functionality, we have released an updated version of the ShiftApp for both Android and iOS. Make sure to keep an eye out for the new app version 62.0.0.

Furthermore, we have updated several Short Video lessons to provide detailed information on how to utilize Shift Interest.

For managers:

Assigning Employees: ShiftApp Help Center - Assigning Employees

Advanced Workforce Settings: ShiftApp Help Center - Advanced Workforce Settings

For employees:

Employee Introduction: ShiftApp Help Center - Employee Introduction

Employee Shift Interest: ShiftApp Help Center - Employee Shift Interest

We sincerely hope that this new feature proves valuable to you. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Show More Calendar button, which appears at the bottom of the schedule "Month" view, has been updated to now load the entire following month rather than just an additional week.

This change is intended to be particularly helpful for managers who often plan shifts for multiple weeks or months in advance using the Month view.
